Overview
A puck screen is a thin metal disc placed on top of the tamped coffee. It spreads the incoming water more evenly and stops grounds sticking to the machine's shower screen, so there is less to clean after every shot.
Flair's version is etched rather than woven mesh. That keeps it very thin and means fines can't get trapped in it; a rinse under cold water is enough. The black finish with a laser-etched logo also looks good in a bottomless portafilter.

Made for 58 mm portafilters, as on E61-group machines and the Flair 58. It does not fit the 54 mm portafilters of the Breville Bambino Plus or Barista Express.
